Sales Consultant wanted, Just Energy LLC
Just Energy is a renewable energy company that develops, owns and operates solar energy systems situated on commercial client structures in the New York tri-state area. Using proven technology and on-site generation, the company can supply a substantial portion of client long-term energy needs at a cost substantially below current utility retail electricity rates. Position Expectations:
The primary responsibility of the Sales Consultant will be to create new business opportunities and develop customer relationships in New York and New Jersey. This entails the ability to:
• Generate customer leads
• Educate customers about solar energy and power purchase agreement financing
• Transmit basic building information from customer site to the engineering & design team
• Meet with customers and management team
• Work with customer to achieve a Solar Power & Services Agreement
• Help the environment, have fun, get paid Customer attributes:
• Minimum of 25,000 square feet of un-shaded roof space
• Minimum of 10 years additional roof life and capable of bearing additional weight
• Minimum energy consumption of 25,000 kWh AC per month • Must own the building or hold a long-term lease
• Must be a well established entity with good credit / a strong balance sheet Compensation: Compensation based on system size. $25,000 per 1 MW system. Systems can be as small as ¼ MW ($6,250). Equity stake in solar asset available in addition to fee, for systems over 5 MW. Opportunity for full time Business Development or Sales and Marketing Director position within 3 months based on merit.
