There are nearly half a million bowlers in the UK. Bowling is just as much a social activity as it is a fiercely competitive sport. Three million of us watch the World Championships on the BBC every year.
Our client is the leading provider of quality bowling holidays here in the UK and they’re thoroughly committed to providing the best experiences to Britain’s bowling community. To do that, our client has built deep and special relationships with coach operators, hoteliers, and attraction operators to provide the most unforgettable experiences for touring bowl clubs. Our client is there not just to help bowls clubs retain their members, they help to grow their numbers and general participation in the sport.
This is a big year for our client as they launch a brand new website and online booking platform. And they’re going to need an expert B2C relationship builder to help show existing and potential future bowls clubs how to make the most from our client’s new website.
Be at the vanguard of changing and modernising an ancient sport
For the greatest chance of success in your application for the role, you’ll need to show that you can use your superior communication skills in a variety of different way, not least convincing a client base consisting of mainly senior citizens to make the beneficial jump to digital booking and servicing.
When your colleagues and our suppliers work with you, your authenticity will shine through and no-one will be in any doubt about the pride you take in your work and in your team.
You’re experienced enough to know that not everything goes right first time around but you have the resilience to see it through to the end, making use of your natural empathy so that the end product really delivers for our bowls group organisers.
You’re results-driven, a self-starter, and you can think quickly on your feet. Most important, you do need to be told to do the right thing or what the right thing to do is – you just do it.
