Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Compensation: $45,000 to $50,000
POSITION SUMMARY:
Our client requires an Account Executive for their Vancouver office. A minimum of 2 years of Courier or Transportation experience is necessary, along with a strong communication and negotiation skills. The successful candidate must be professional and confident as preparing and delivering sales presentations is a large part of Account Executive’s responsibilities.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Contact prospective customers by telephone, making appointments for sales presentations
* Prepares sales presentation by identifying and matching client needs to organization’s services
* Deliver presentations to potential customers explaining service policies, procedures and charges
* Offer discounts based on expected revenue from accounts
* Complete necessary actions for initiation of customer account (inputting discount information to the computer system, etc.)
* Contact customers in writing regarding account status and other applicable information
* Maintain records as necessary and report on actions
* Contact existing customers to maintain working relationship
* Handle customer service problem complaints as necessary
* Maintain current knowledge of related goals, objectives, processes and procedures and sales and marketing techniques
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to initiative, integrity, strong work ethic and being a team player:
* Bachelor''s degree/equivalent
* Minimum two (2) years Industrial sales experience - courier/transportation experience preferred
* Must be self motivated
* Ability to organize and prioritize large amounts of information
* Strong verbal and oral communication skills
* Strong presentation, human relations and negotiation skills
