SharePoint Project Leader

We have an immediate SharePoint Project Leader full time opening with our client in Melville, LI.
NOTE: this position allows up to 3 days telecommuting after 1st year with the company.
Summary of Position:
To perform and to lead others in performing: Analysis, design, development, modification, integration, implementation, and maintenance of software applications. To provide on-going support for firm''s software user community to ensure software quality and to increase applications'' accountability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Software Analysis and Design: Perform thorough, methodical analysis, and provide solid technical solutions through active participation in application analysis and design sessions. Make recommendations to the Project Manager. Perform all work within the guidelines defined in The Firm''s Project Management methodology. Understanding of the Full Project Life Cycle
Skills:
" Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
" Knowledge of Microsoft Project
" Proficiency in several programming languages, including advanced web development skills (Microsoft .Net: VS.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, Web Services, Sharepoint 2007 and Sharepoint API; C#, Javascript, XML, DHTML)
" Proficiency in MS SQL Server, Transact SQL, MS SQL Reporting Services.
" Knowledge of Business Object XI development and implementation is a plus
" Knowledge of operating systems and networking
" Ability to multi-task
" Ability to work independently and within a team
" Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new technologies
" Solid written and verbal communication skills
" Good organizational skills
" Ability to mentor other developers
Experience:
" Experience translating functional specifications into technical specifications.
" 4+ years experience in all phases of application development cycle on several development platforms
" BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
