This executive level position will be responsible for strategically planning and implementing the overall marketing and business development efforts of the company, including managing branding and coordinating corporate marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a network of contacts that will support the growth and diversification of the company.
Job Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in marketing, or business administration
• 15+ years of experience in marketing and business
• Professional presence and ability to represent company at social, business and industry gatherings
• Executive level written and oral communication ability • Strong management and training skills • Experience in large multinational company as marketing head, or regional marketing head • Graduate degree in Marketing a strong plus
• Experience in similar industry a plus Position Description Our client is currently seeking a VP Marketing, that would have overall global leadership responsibility for the development and execution of business plans focused on innovative marketing strategies that achieve business success.
• Pioneer and lead marketing strategies to achieve the business goals and objectives of the company.
• Work hand in hand with operations and planning to ensure that business goals are being achieved where marketing strategies show best possible returns.
• Hire, train and develop a marketing team that will train and educate all other teams for most efficient output.
• Lead efforts to identify and discover new opportunities and target markets that are consistent with the company's strategic plans.
• Direct the analysis, planning and implementation of the marketing strategy to achieve maximum penetration of existing products into targeted markets.
• Promote and utilize analytic methods to establish/evaluate all marketing programs, including analysis and recommendation of new strategic opportunities.
• Develop, implement and evaluate promotional strategies.
• Develop and execute competitive strategies based on thorough competitive intelligence and market analysis.
• Effectively partner and collaborate with other functions/regions in the development and execution of marketing and product strategy, including the training and education of sub teams to increase the potential of the company as a whole.
• Some travel required, up to 20% (possibly more initially until team is in place)
• Position will report to President of company with some functional reporting to COO.
