We are seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.
Summary:
The Director will report to the VP of Treasury and manage a group of 3-4 responsible for developing a standardized set of processes, key metrics and internal reports across all divisions.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop strategic planning, performance metrics, management reporting, annual budgets, interim forecasts and financial analyses.
• Work closely with the divisional finance teams to coordinate the delivery of financial data and create unified systems, processes, dashboards and metrics.
• Responsible for business roll ups, acquisitions and integrations. Coordinate the integration activities of the three divisions as well as their acquisitions and joint ventures. Determine if a business fits as a tuck-in or as an adjacent business.
• Track the macro trends and determine the effects of different market and economic forces on the business to provide economic projections so that the company has increased visibility to better anticipate changes and make adjustments.
• Develop high level strategy and provide financial modeling and sensitivity analysis around broad and in-depth internal and external factors.
• Provide analysis of production, pricing, distribution and commodity hedging.
• Develop ad-hoc forecasts for different business scenarios including margin adjustments, increased risk profiles, commodity price spikes, etc.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree (BS, BA, etc.) Finance/Accounting. An MBA is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 10-15 years experience (including "Big Four" public accounting)
• Experience with Oil companies, Energy, Transportation, Logistics, and or Service Providers to the Transportation/Fuel Industry, i.e. companies like Honeywell or GE, diverse business working across a spectrum of businesses with diversified holdings.
• Broad experience in accounting and finance is required; understanding of the Balance Sheet (accounting) and macro trends, financial modeling and sensitivity analysis (finance).
• Must be business savvy, energetic, collaborative, enthusiastic, persistent, resourceful and an excellent communicator who loves taking the reins and running with it.
• Must be able to drive positive change and improve results by adopting improved and more advantageous processes.
