To perform this job successfully, an individual must have expert knowledge of federal acquisition guidance including FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement), MAPS (Marine Corps Acquisition Procedures Supplement) and NAVSUP (Naval Supplement).
• Top Secret security clearance required
Administer federal contracts and some commercial contracts associated with highly visible programs and customers. Administration includes preparation of fixed price proposals, both large and small, pricing, negotiating terms and conditions, preparing terms and conditions, and total day-to-day administration of resultant contracts. Support interactions with partners on Cost-Price proposals that may include cost plus fixed fee, time and materials, fixed price level-of-effort, and IDIQ type contracts. Administration must be performed in compliance with TMRK policies and procedures, applicable local and federal government regulations and good business practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:
• Administer federal contracts and some commercial contracts associated with highly visible programs and customers. Administration includes preparation of fixed price proposals, both large and small, pricing, negotiating terms and conditions, preparing terms and conditions, and total day-to-day administration of resultant contracts.
• Support interactions with partners on Cost-Price proposals that may include cost plus fixed fee, time and materials, fixed price level-of-effort, and IDIQ type contracts.
• Provide TFG pogram managers and executives strategic and long-range guidance and advice on all contractual issues directly impacting the overall planning, growth, profitability and efficiency of our projects.
• Provide guidance to site staff and managers on contract requirement interpretations to ensure delivery of contract services.
• Perform Contract Administration in compliance with policies and procedures, applicable local and federal government regulations and good business practices.
• Participate in customer interactions involving contract issues.
