Senior Business Consultant – Investment Accounting Solutions ( Citizens of the PRC only)
Overall purpose of the job:
Provide quality review and guidance to local Business Analysts implementing Investment Accounting software solutions to insurance companies and fund houses in China.
Job Responsibilities:-
1. Implement DSTi Investment Accounting solutions using HiPortfolio.
2. Involve in presale activities including demonstration and presentation to prospects.
3. Coach local team and provide guidance in both HiPortfolio implementation and most importantly industry best practices.
4. Carry out post-implementation review and support if required.
5. Review and audit solution design by other associates and provide constant feedback.
6. Analyze client processes and business requirements, and arrive at a detailed specification of solution design.
7. Configure and set up software application to meet client requirements as per solution design specification.
8. Provide consulting and training to clients.
9. Provide assistance during client acceptance testing.
10. Prepare system transition plan and drive system migration involving data take-on.
11. Produce and maintain solution documentation and operational procedures manual.
Job Requirements:-
1. Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
2. 5+ years experience as a senior associate in the investment industry with intimate knowledge of the investment company operations and best practices.
3. Solid working knowledge of HiPortfolio in the back office operation.
4. Basic understanding of IT including database, client-server architecture and interfaces.
5. Effective communication skills with fluent written and spoken in both English and Chinese (Putonghua)
6. Good people skills in a multi-cultural environment and be able to deal with clients at all levels.
7. Good presentation skills.
8. This position is based in China with extensive traveling expected
