Direct Source Network is currently working with a major Utilities Company in the South Pacific region. Due to tremendous expansion they now require a Senior CFO to take up an Expat assignment based in Papa New Guinea. The role will suit an Irish or UK professional CFO who is looking for an opportunity that will provide an exciting, fast paced and challenging start-up career environment. You must have demonstrated your proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including to a Board of Directors.
Reporting to the Group CEO in the Pacific you will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the financial controls and procedures of the company and new markets, ensuring consistency of accounting policy and procedures.
Your Profile: Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience Staff management experience is essential, as is a strong grasp of modern reporting systems You must be willing and eager to contribute, as part of a senior management team, to the development of the markets in line with corporate objectives. The challenge will be to impose tight financial controls while ensuring the rapid growth of the company and work to tight timelines. Previous/ Current international experience will be an advantage.
